Sara Miriam Gross

Jewish writing that nourishes mind, heart, & soul

About

I began writing my first book at age eight.
(Got distracted after the first few pages.)

Joined a children’s news team at age eleven. (Caught the reporting bug.)

Interned at Sesame Street Magazine at age fourteen. (Big Bird couldn’t keep up with all his fan mail.)

From there I moved on to writing poems, speeches, feature articles, brochures, ads, fundraising letters, fiction, and a few really awful restaurant menus.

As the daughter of two business journalists / creative writers, my path is hardly surprising. From childhood I saw magazines being laid out on our dining room table. I entered the world of words without choosing it. Along the way I gained an insightful writing mentor who helped me polish my craft.

For the past decade I have been focused on making book dreams come true — my own, and those of the aspiring authors who reach out for ghostwriting, author coaching, editing, or book production services.

I grew up on an island (Manhattan) and now have the privilege of living with my family in the courtyard of the King (Eretz Yisrael).

Is it too late to mention that my favorite color is purple?
